Firstly, I just wanna say thanks to everyone who commented on my last entry! Sorry I didn't get to respond to anyone, but as you can imagine, I was a little bit busy. But I really appreciate all the comments and thoughts!

This is just a little entry to say that I am now officially a Mrs! How crazy is that? The wedding was beautiful and amazingly nothing went wrong for the whole day. Everything was perfect! I think everyone had a great time. We had the token drunk person (who was my brother-in-law's girlfriend... the funny thing was that she was smashed by 7:30pm and stayed that way for the rest of the night... her antics included falling over twice, spilling drinks and food everywhere, crying, yelling, loud singing and more... it was hilarious!), the token hook-up (one of my bridesmaids Sophie hooked up with my cousin Peter and they are now in the process of starting a relationship!), the token crier at the goodbyes (my bridesmaid Carrie who bawled her eyes out as she hugged me and proceeded to tell me repeatedly that I'm her best friend ever, no really I am! She swears! lol) and the token drunk groom who repeatedly stepped on my feet during our first dance as husband and wife because he couldn't comprehend that he was drunk... he realised the next morning when he wasn't feeling the best ;) It was quite amusing, he was trying to dip me while we were dancing and I was protesting "No! You'll drop me!", luckily I managed to convince him of that.

I'm hoping to get back our professional photos either today or tomorrow, so once I do I'll try and post a couple... I just realised that I have no idea how to post photos on here so someone may need to help me a little lol!

We just got back from our honeymoon late on Saturday night, and we had a great time. We went to Phuket in Thailand and it was beautiful but a bit of a culture shock! We did some shopping, had lots of cocktails, went swimming a lot (and I managed not to get sunburnt!), went to some beautiful beaches, rode an elephant and just relaxed a lot. It was awesome.

Now we're back to the real world. And we're moving interstate in less than 2 months. It's crazy. But it should be fun. Now we're looking forward to going over to America next year for Thanksgiving hopefully! The saving begins! And yes Tricia, I swear we're coming :p

I can't believe it.... I'm getting married in 18 days. It's come up so quickly! I'm so scared that I'm forgetting really important stuff that I need to do. I haven't really been involved in many weddings before, so I don't know if there is just things that I haven't even thought of. And I'm hoping that there won't be any problems with any of the people that we have booked to do stuff. My Dad called the limo guy to re-confirm and check how much we still owed and he thought that we only wanted one limo, not two. The scary part is that we had made it crystal clear that we needed two. It's even written on our receipt from our deposit that we had two different pick up addresses. Some people are just dumb. It doesn't make me feel very safe that we're not gonna have any problems, especially with him!

I've got so much to look forward to over the next month. Tricia is coming over and will be here next week! Dan's family is coming (which will be mostly good), my hen's night is next week, I'm on holidays from work from next Wednesday and Dan's on holidays from this Saturday, we're having a pamper day two days before the wedding, the actual wedding (WOOHOO!) and then the exciting and hopefully wonderful honeymoon.

Anyway, I have to get going. I still have to go to work and do a few things before I start. But I just wanted to write a little entry. I've been so busy and everything has been about the wedding the last month or so, so that's why I don't have anything else to write about. Oh! Except that Survivor started last week and the second episode is tonight! Woohoo! Finally. Only six weeks behind America, but who's counting? Football season has started too which is awesome. The Broncos played horribly in the first round and adequately in the second. The third round was awesome! I hadn't seen the whole team play that well together in a really long time. No one had a bad game, it was amazing! Last week we lost, but we didn't play badly so I can handle it. Hopefully we can have an awesome game against the Rabbitohs on Saturday and then start a winning streak!

Gotta go. I hope everyone is well and doing great. I try to read people's lj journals when I get the chance, so everyone keep updating!

I'm sitting at home, desperately not wanting to go to work. I just don't feel up to it. It's never that bad once I'm actually there, but getting the motivation to want to go? That's a whole other thing! Plus, the fact that I'm watching Gilmore Girls just makes me want to stay home and watch it all day. I never get tired of it! I've started watching season 1 again (for the 50th time I'm pretty sure) and it's still awesome. The best part is that I even have Dan watching it. I was out shopping with my friend Brooke yesterday, and Dan came home for lunch from work. I had been watching Gilmore Girls before I left, so it was still on the TV. So he watched an episode while he ate lunch. He's just so damn cute! And he would do anything for me, especially tolerating my obsession with several TV shows. I'm very lucky!

We've been very naughty spending money lately. It's terrible! We're supposed to be saving for our honeymoon, but apparently we have trouble saying no to each other when we want something! Dan has become somewhat obsessed with fishing at the moment. Woohoo. That's all well and good. Except in the past few months he has bought 3... yes 3... fishing rods. Because apparently one isn't enough. And to start with, he had borrowed one of my dad's rods and still hasn't given it back. So technically, he has 4 fishing rods at the moment. Then once you add the cost of buying a tackle box filled with stuff, lures, bait... it all adds up.

Then, when Brooke and I went shopping last week I fell in love with this beautiful JAG handbag. Oh, it's so pretty! Now, I love bags. I don't buy a lot of them or spend heaps on them normally, but this bag was gorgeous. And it was $90. Brooke is a very very bad influence on me! She convinced me to buy the bag and if Dan got annoyed (because we literally had like $23 in our bank account), to blame her. Dan didn't care, he never denies me anything that I want luckily. But still, I felt so guilty! So now our credit card debt is creeping up slowly but surely. And we'd just managed to pay it off completely a few weeks earlier and not put anything on it! Then, when I checked my emails yesterday, I found that a Survivor DVD (the Pearl Islands season --- Oh how I hate Jonny Fairplay! But I can't wait to watch it again and make Dan watch it with me!) that I had ordered months ago had been shipped a little over a week early! So it was exciting, but again more money when I hadn't been expecting it!

Anyway, enough complaining from me. I'm excited because today is Tuesday and that means THE O.C.!!!! I love that show. Last week we had a small OC party to kick off the season. It was so funny. There was absolute silence while the show was on and then in the ads everyone just started talking at once about what was happening. It was great fun. Tonight we're going round to Brian and Brooke's for OC night again. We did it for pretty much every episode last year and I guess we'll do it this year until we move. It's so much fun! And House comes back on tomorrow night. YAY! Now I just have to wait for Survivor to start and then I will be in TV heaven!

Better head off and have a shower and then go to work. Oh the joy! I hope everyone is well. Tricia, if you read this, sorry about my email yesterday. I was just so pissed that the big one that I wrote disappeared that I just couldn't force myself to write another big one. But I promise I'll write a longer one in response to yours once you write back!

    Ciao!

    Busy Busy Busy
Long time, no update. Things have been crazy busy lately! My wedding is only 3 months away! AHHHHHH! I'm so incredibly excited :D :D :D Everything is coming together very nicely. There has been a couple of small hiccups but nothing that wasn't able to be fixed. And quickly I might add! Then, once the wedding is over, 2 months later, Daniel and I will be moving.

Yes, we have our first army posting. We will be moving to the lovely area of Albury-Wodonga. I'm surprisingly very excited about it! I mean, I'm going to miss my family and friends like crazy, but it's supposed to be pretty cool and relaxed in Wodonga (which is where we think we will be living). Friends of ours are living there at the moment and they love it down there. It's like an hour from the ski fields and my father and uncle tell me that there are wonderful wineries and golf courses down there (oh the joy for me). At least I know my dad will come visit me, even if he has ulterior motives!

    Boring update
I'm sitting at home alone (Dan is away for work... again!) so I thought I'd do a really quick update on here. I haven't got anything exciting to say really, but it popped into my head so I thought I would do it.

Pretty much all I'm doing at the moment is wedding preparations. It's all very exciting :D This weekend I'm shopping with my mummy and Natalie and Carrie for the fabric for the bridesmaids dresses. Hopefully the material won't be tooooo expensive. We managed to find a good dressmaker who is relatively cheap, so if the material is a bit pricey, overall it should still be not too expensive. The girls are paying for themselves though luckily, so I don't need to be too concerned about that. My aunty's business partner is going to make the wedding cake for us which is exciting. Now it should only cost about $100 instead of the estimated $300-500 price that I had been expecting.

Basically... everything is falling into place nicely. Hopefully I won't jinx myself and make everything turn to shit!

I've been sick the last week with a cold/flu thing which sucks. It was my brother's 21st on the weekend which was fun but the next day I was even sicker, when I thought I had been getting better. Then on Sunday we had a bbq for Natalie's birthday and I ended up going home early because I wasn't feeling well. Once I got home, I started throwing up which was just lovely. Luckily I had my Daniel to look after me. I'm starting to feel a bit better today, finally.

I loved the NRL grand final this year!!! Last year sucked, with me disliking both the Roosters and the Bulldogs. This year the Cowboys (which was the next best thing for me once the Broncos were knocked out) vs Tigers was awesome! I was so deliriously happy when the Dragons and the Eels were knocked out! I was disappointed that the Cowboys didn't come off with a win, but I was still happy that the Tigers won. They played really well. I was really hoping that Scott Prince would win the Clive Churchill medal (player of the match) but I thought for sure that Brett Hodgson or Benji Marshall would get it. I was ecstatic when they said Scott Prince's name! And then I was even more ecstatic when he was named in the Australian squad. Unfortunately, Andrew Johns is also in the squad, so unless he gets another injury, Scott doesn't have much chance of playing.

I'm waiting anxiously for my season 4 Gilmore Girls DVD to arrive from amazon.com. I haven't seen all of the episodes, so I am so excited to finally get to see them. I still adore my GG and I watch my first 3 season DVDs ALL THE TIME. I'm excited that the 5th season DVD is coming out in December! I already have it on order. I can't wait to see the wonderful Luke/Lorelai interactions!!!

I'm also loving that Survivor is back on again! I just heart that show so much. They're already starting the twists early on switching the tribes. I still dislike Bobby Jon a lot (he is seriously a child in a man's body) and Stephenie is a lot more full of herself this season in comparison to Palau. My favourites so far are Cindy and Brooke. None of the guys are really jumping out to me at all. Brian seems like a good player, but he is a little too full of himself for my liking at times. I definitely do not like Gary at all. Everything about him annoys me. I also do not like Blake, Lydia or Rafe. I could change my mind, but I don't know.

Anyway, I'm sure I've crapped on too much already so I should end this update now.

I hope everyone is well and happy :)

We will only need each other, we'll bleed together
Well, it seems that some people do still read my journal. Thanks for making my last entry not pointless :)

Reggie, so great to hear from you! I've missed you too. How are your beautiful children and Clayton? Thanks for being so excited for me! I've dropped off the face of the... internet (lol) because things are just busy these days. During the week, if I'm not working, I come on a little bit, but I'm never on at night or weekends anymore because Dan's home then and nothing makes me happier than spending time with him :D I've never been this happy in my entire life.

Jess, so good to hear from you. I commented on a few of your lj entries and didn't get any replies or anything so I didn't know if you were annoyed with me or what. That's why I hadn't told you about the engagement. We hadn't talked one on one in ages and I wanted to tell you that way... but it didn't happen. How's your mum? I hope she's doing a lot better than she was. I'm so glad that you love Scripps so much. I told you that you would love it way more than high school and that it was different ;) From the looks of it, you've made some amazing friends there which is awesome. I'm so happy for you! How's Becky doing?

Trishy, well... I'm talking to you right now lol, so I'm not gonna say anything to you on here :p Oh except that I think it's great that you and Natalie have become such good friends. I'm glad that you two got to meet *cough*because of me*cough* and form such a great friendship :D

Melissa, I'm sorry that somehow you're offended by me asking Tricia (not "The American" as you referred to her) to be a bridesmaid. I'm also sorry that you take it so personally that I am happy. I'm finally fulfilling my one dream and ambition in life... to marry my soul mate and have children with him. He makes me feel flawless (something I have never ever achieved in my lifetime) and beautiful and perfect and amazingly content. You've shown that you weren't happy for me about that from the very beginning, so I'm not sure what you expect from me. I'm expecting a huge backlash from this. But I hope that you don't necessarily expect a response to it.

My Broncos won their 10th game in a row this weekend :D They're playing so damn well and it makes me very happy. I just hope that we don't have any (or too many) problems after the State of Origin series finishes. I'm also currently addicted to Big Brother. At first, I thought they were all pretty much dickheads. Now, I like some of them and hate others. Most of the ones that I've hated have gone fairly early which is good. You can even tell that the host hates them too which is just great. I'm also sad that The OC is coming to an end for the year very soon. It is such an awesome show that I can't get enough of. Lucky I have the first season on DVD to fulfill my needs. And the second season comes out in August in America, so that will be awesome too.

    Ciao

Kill me while I still believe that you were meant for me
So, I'm sure that no one even reads this anymore, so I'm not really sure why I'm bothering to do an entry. But I'm home by myself and I came here for the first time in ages so I thought I would. I'm just going to do a basic update of my life at the moment. I'm sure there are some of you out there that hate me. That's just fine. Hate me all you want. Some of you may even choose to voice this hate through comments. That's fine too. Just don't expect me to respond.

I'm wonderfully happy right now. Dan and I got engaged in March and we're getting married in April next year. Wedding plans are going well. It's very fun and exciting making all different decisions and choosing what we want. So far we've been fairly blessed getting both the church and the reception venue that we were hoping for. We also got a great photographer for a really good price, so we're doing well. I've chosen my dress (which I think is absolutely beautiful) and Carrie ended up choosing the bridesmaids dresses unknowingly, but what she chose is just gorgeous.

We're renting a house which we are really comfortable in. We've been living here for 9 months now and we've definitely made it our own. The only bad thing is that we're living on the other side of town from where my parents live. Sometimes it's a blessing but most times it's just a hassle, especially in peak hour traffic! We have fish as pets (3 tanks of them to be exact!). I don't mind, because Dan takes care of them, but it sucks when he has to go away for work and I have to look after them. Their names are Krull (the Warrior King... we used to have a Princess Sophia too but she died), Luci (Lucifer), Princess Sparkle, Captain Oats, Barracuda and Pete and Relle (named after my parents). We also have two nameless fish right now because they're just new. We used to have two called Joey and Chandler but they were too much hassle and we had to swap them for something else.

My beloved Broncos are coming first on the NRL ladder which is awesome. They're playing really really well this year. Hopefully their 9 game winning streak will continue. The Maroons won a wonderful first State of Origin game... nail biting, but wonderful. Hopefully they can do it again tomorrow to wrap up the series.

Despite the dislike some hold for me, I do hope that everyone that I used to be in contact with are doing well. Jake, in case you're reading this, I hope especially that you are doing well. I heard a while back that you were sick and I was very sad to hear it. I would have emailed but I didn't think you'd want me to, so I didn't.

I'm rarely on the computer anymore so I probably won't update this again for ages... but I'm sure no one cares anyway ;)

    Ciao

I'm more alone when I'm with you
^^^ Lyrics from the new Jebs album which I am in love with already. Not the typical Jebs effort, but they've been heading in this direction for a while so it's not surprising. I was really naughty and should not have bought it today. I have no money whatsoever and I actually paid for it with money from one of Dan's accounts that he said I could use if I needed to. He's been away with the army for the past two weeks and doesn't get back till the weekend, so I have his ATM card and credit card which was possibly not a good idea on his part :p But I wanted to buy the album this week because it has a bonus DVD in it, which I could have missed out on if I had waited. I know he won't care. I just feel ridiculously irresponsible. But anyway, what's new with me having issues with myself.

I'm doing this survey sort of as a way to calm myself down a bit. I'm not feeling too great... all moody and upset and stuff. Go Queenslander!
We did it! YAY! Queensland beat New South Wales in the second State of Origin game. Did I call it? Why, I think I did. I called Darren Lockyer to have a big impact and a good game and guess what... HE DID! I called Billy Slater to have a good game. Guess what.... He scored two tries and got player of the match ;) I called Cameron Smith to have a big game... and he got the highest tackle count for Queensland. I also called Willie Tonga to step up and he had a great game and scored a try.... Ok, I'll stop bragging now I think :p

Sorry to all those NSW supporters out there. I feel extra bad for you. Not only did you guys lose but you've also got the biggest dickhead in the world as your coach! Phil Gould is such a wanker. What kind of a coach walks off the field and into the change rooms before the game is even finished? What kind of coach can't be there as a support for his team when they just lost? And I do have to say that NSW did play exceptionally well and the game really could have gone either way. It wasn't that NSW didn't deserve to win, because they did play well, it's just that Queensland ended up getting the upper hand. In the first 20 minutes it looked like NSW were going to run all over us, but we managed to step up. But back to the idiot. Imagine how the NSW team would have felt. They just lost an important match after playing their arses off and their beloved coach is nowhere in sight because he's a big cry baby who can't handle losing apparently. He needed to go and sulk in private. Which is really quite weird for Gould considering the dummy spits and hissy fits he has thrown in the last month or so in the media. Walking out of press conferences, accusing Queensland of cheating, crying at press conferences one week and then looking like a kid in a candy shop the next when he has Brad Fittler sitting next to him. The man is like a freaking one man circus. He can do all kinds of tricks and knows how to manipulate things to go his way. I'm even surprised that he had to go and sulk (although I'm pretty sure it was just his way of getting more publicity for himself and to get the media and fans to be talking about his arrogant behaviour instead of Queensland's great win... and yes I realise that I have partly fallen into his trap and I'm doing what he wants, but at least I know it). The reason I'm surprised is because I'm pretty sure that rugby league isn't even about football to Phil Gould anymore. It's publicity and it's him being discussed by hundreds of thousands of Australians. I guess when you've got an ego as big as his, you have to find a way to stroke it and he knows how to do it perfectly.

And of course, it's all Sean Hampsteads fault because he didn't referee the game well enough... this is according to Phil Gould of course. Because his team losing surely couldn't be a reflection on his coaching ability whatsoever. Sure, I agree that Sean Hampstead didn't do the best job. There were head high hits all night from both sides (but mainly from Craig Fitzgibbon, Brent Kite and Steve Price) that went unnoticed. There were surely several offside calls that should have been made. There were penalties given that weren't deserving of penalties and there were things that occurred which should have been automatic penalties that just didn't happen. But I've got some news for you Phil Gould... NSW losing didn't have anything to do with Sean Hampstead (he was pretty much evenly crap for both sides). NSW lost because Queensland ending up scoring more points than them. It's not science. If your boys had have scored more points, you would have won the game. It's as simple as that. Maybe next time you won't be putting so much focus on Brad Fittler being the saviour of your team (which he clearly wasn't despite having a good game). I hope more than anything that NSW loses this series just to piss Phil Gould off since it's his last year as coach. It would be a fitting exit for a dickhead with an ego so big his head takes up the majority of Australia.

I've had my little rant now (A). Sorry to all you non-Aussies who have absolutely no freaking idea what I'm talking about. And Melly, our teams face off again this weekend. Hopefully the Broncos will kick the Eels arses :p

    11:12 am
Wow, it's been almost 2 months since I last updated. I have been a muchly busy girl and this combined with my computer and it's issues has made being online for more than 5 minutes a very difficult task. I apologise to all of my friends who I haven't been having the chance to speak to. I basically haven't been home a lot. I'm working most days as well as having uni stuff on and I've been staying at Dan's a lot and stuff. So I do apologise. I miss everybody but I completely understand if people are pissed at me. There isn't much I can do about it, but I am sorry.

So, what's been going on with me? Well, I'm muchly happy. Dan is a real sweetheart and he makes me feel beautiful and like a princess every single day without fail. I'm gonna marry this one ;) A couple of weeks ago he bought me a white gold ring with 13 little diamonds across the top of it. It's absolutely gorgeous. He probably has to go to Malaysia for 3 months for work though in August which totally sucks. 3 months is a long time. But hopefully I get to go and visit him for a week or so while he's there which will be very cool.

Sophie leaves for New York in a couple of weeks, so I've been spending as much time with her as possible. I have my uni exams in the next two weeks, so it's study time for them. I've been working 4 or 5 days a week at work lately too which is good money wise, but tiring. I've suddenly become even older than I used to be and have been in bed most nights before 10pm. I guess the fact that I've been starting work at 7:30 a lot of mornings has contributed to that, but yeah. I'm even older than I was before and I didn't think that was really possible.

My beloved Broncos have been going fairly well. We're coming third at the moment which is great. We lost last weekend to the Sharks which was absolutely embarrassing but we played like shit in the second half, so what did they expect? Oh my god I hate Brett Kimmorley (the Sharks captain) so very much. He's a short annoying idiot who plays really dirty but gets away with it. I can't stand him. There are a lot of men that I hate in rugby league, and good old Kimmorley is right up there. Hopefully this Wednesday Queensland can come through and beat NSW in the State of Origin. NSW having Brad Fittler back (which is a load of bullshit in my opinion... and that leads me to the man I hate most of all in rugby league... Phil Gould) is going to be a huge advantage for NSW but luckily we've got Lockyer back which will make a big difference with our side. I expect Lockyer, Webcke, Cameron Smith and Billy Slater to have big games this week. Hopefully Scott Prince can play as well as he did in last game, but it would be nice if his kicking game was improved (luckily we have Lockyer though now) and I'm assuming that Willie Tonga will step up for his debut game. Thank god Justin Hodges was dropped from the side. He is such a dick and he had a really shit game in the first one. GO QUEENSLANDER!

So that's pretty much it for me. I'm gonna do a little survey thing that Jess and Jake posted in their LJs for the sake of it (and to prove Jess wrong :p)

    1. What time do you normally get up?
It depends on what day it is and my work schedule, but normally between 6 and 9am. Although this morning I got up at 10 which was really nice.

    2. If you could eat lunch with one person, who would it be?
If I could do it today it would be with Tricia. If it has to be a famous person it would be Lauren Graham cause she's hilarious.

    3. Gold or Silver?
Definitely silver... unless of course it's white gold :p

    4. What was the last film you saw at the cinema?
Dan and I went and saw Twisted the other night with Ashley Judd, Andy Garcia and Samuel L. Jackson. For a movie with three big actors in it, it wasn't overly good. It wasn't bad, it just wasn't as good as I expected. Hopefully this weekend we'll be seeing Prisoner of Azkaban!

    5. What is/are your favorite TV show(s)?
Friends, Gilmore Girls, Charmed, Merrick and Rosso Unplanned, Survivor... and probably soon to be The OC (YAY Loz! They're bringing The OC back! When I first saw the commerical for it I thought of you immediately and how happy you would be with that)

    14. What kind of car do you drive?
1983 Toyota Corona stationwagon. Go the old school. Or I've been driving Dan's car a little bit lately too which is a 1971 Ford Falcon XY. It's a v8 and it's very amusing watching me drive a v8

Jess and Jake cause they've done it

    27. Person you expect to send it back first?
    No one

    28. What fabric detergent do you use?
"Is it bad that I don't know?" Don't worry Jess, I'm exactly the same. I love my mum ;)

    29. Coke or Pepsi?
    Coke! Pepsi tastes like shit

    30. Are you a morning person or a night owl?
I'm definitely not a morning person so I guess I'm more of a night owl

    31. What is your shoe size?
    Normally 8 or 8 and a half

    32. Do you have any pets?
Our dog Emma and a bird called Jake

    Winter or Spring

    11:37 am
What do you say when words are not enough?
So I had a pretty good weekend. Nothing overly exciting. On Thursday I got sent a dozen red roses which was very very sweet :D I've never gotten roses before, so I was pretty damn excited about it. On Friday night, Adam made dinner for Natalie and I which was great! Very yummy indeed. I ended up staying the night at Natalie's since we had a few drinks and then on Saturday morning I went and had breakfast with Sophie which was really nice. It's getting way too close to her having to go to the States and I don't want her to go.

The Broncos won their game on Saturday night which was awesome :D I'm very unhappy about them losing their two points but I have a feeling that they will get them back with their appeal. It was ridiculous to take them off them in the first place. Damn New South Wales people hating Queenslanders. Just cause we're good :P We would be tied first at the moment if we still had the points. I think we're a good chance of beating Penrith this weekend too. Both teams have six players each playing in the Australia vs New Zealand test on Friday night (the two teams with the highest contribution of players to the game), so it will be interesting to see how the teams hold up. It makes them relatively equal, although, the Broncos two biggest and powerful forwards won't be playing in comparison to the Panthers four big forwards not playing will probably make a difference. The fact that we're losing our five-eighth and they're losing their halfback makes things pretty even on the attacking side, except we lose our two centres which could make things a bit tough too. It just depends on whether or not it's a forwards game or a back line game on the day as to who has the upper hand. I do realise that some of you have absolutely no idea what I'm talking about, but it's all good. I know what I'm talking about.

Now I'm gonna do this survey thing that Jake posted. It's a Seven Deadly Sins thing.

    Wrath

    1. Who did you last get angry with?
I'm thinking it would be my brother. He is normally the main person who makes me angry. You've gotta love sibling relationships ;)
    2. What is your weapon of choice?
Yeah, I don't have one. The first thing that popped into my head was a hockey stick, so there you go
    3. Would you hit a member of the opposite sex?
Not seriously, no. I mean, I have hit guys playfully, and I've punched my brother many a time over the years, so technically technically the answer is probably yes.
    4. How about of the same sex?
Again with the not seriously. I'm not very strong at all ;)
    5. Who was the last person who got really angry at you?
I'm not sure about really angry. I'm pretty sure that Melissa was angry at me last night considering the text messages I got on my phone, and I haven't heard back from her yet.
    6. What is your pet peeve?
I have way too many. It comes from working in retail for too long. But I guess a big one would be people who are irresponsible and let other people down.

    Sloth

    1. What is one thing you're supposed to do daily that you haven't done in a long time?
Well technically technically I should probably do some uni work pretty much every day. Yeah, that hasn't happened in quite a while really. I'm gonna be so screwed in like 2 weeks time.
    2. What is the latest you've ever woken up?
I honestly don't know. Probably like 1pm or something
    3. Name a person you've been meaning to contact, but haven't?
Well it had been Min, but she called me on Friday and I emailed her this morning. So I guess it would be Liz
    4. What is the last lame excuse you made?
Min asked me why I haven't seen Rachel much and I said because I'd been busy, when really, even though I have been busy, it was just because I couldn't be bothered to try with her
    5. Have you ever watched an infomercial all the way through?
Yes, but never out of interest. More out of lazyness
    6. When was the last time you got in a good workout?
Playing netball last Monday. And tonight I am going to do it again

    4. Have you ever used a professional diet company?
    Not so much
    5. Do you have an issue with your weight?
Not my weight as a whole so much as particular parts of my body being too big
    6. Do you prefer sweets, salty foods, or spicy foods?
Sweets or salty foods. It depends on my mood really.
    7. Have you ever looked at a small house pet or child and thought "lunch"?
Very very strange question, and the answer is no

    Lust

    1. How many people have you seen naked (not counting movies/family)?
Five I think, I don't remember any more than that right now
    2. How many people have seen YOU naked (not counting physicians/family)?
    Three
    3. Have you ever caught yourself staring at the chest/crotch of a member of the opposite gender during a normal conversation?
    Not so much
    4. Have you "done it"?
    Yes, yes I have
    5. What is your favourite body part on a person of your gender of choice?
Their eyes. Or the hip thing some guys have. If they don't have the hip thing, then maybe their arms
    6. Have you ever been propositioned by a prostitute?
    Can't say I have ;) Such a shame too
    7. Have you ever had to get tested for an STD or pregnancy?
I have done a pregnancy test before, yes. It was a few years ago now though

    Greed

    1. How many credit cards do you own?
Just the one. That's probably too much for me as it is
    2. What's your guilty pleasure store?
I can be really really bad whenever I go into bookstores. Or music stores too which sell CDs and DVDs.
    3. If you had 1 million, what would you do with it?
Pay off my parents house. Buy a house and a car for myself. Buy all the books, CDs and DVDs I wanted. Buy a new computer and then invest the rest.
    4. Would you rather be rich, or famous?
    Rich for sure!
    5. Would you accept a boring job if it meant you would make megabucks?
It would depend what the job was

Only little things when I was a little kid
    7. How many MP3s are on your hard drive?
I really don't know. Maybe around 600 or so

    Pride

    1. What's one thing you have done that you're most proud of?

I only know that this much is true, I'm gonna miss you
So apart from being sick at the moment, I'm pretty damn happy. Oh, except I hate my computer and I want to smash it into teeny weeny pieces ;) I swear, it just freezes whenever the hell it feels like it. Sometimes it will work when you restart it, other times it's just like "Sorry whore, but I don't feel like working today". If my brother doesn't fix up our replacement computer for this one soon I am going to kick him so goddamn hard. I can't handle the headache this computer gives me every single freakin' day anymore! Seriously!

On a more positive note, the last week has been fan-flippin-tastic :D Apart from not being able to talk to a few close friends very much, everything has been pretty much perfect. I've been spending ridiculous amounts of time with Natalie, but it's been great. I just love her so much. And Adam (her boyfriend) is great too. We get along really really well, which is a very good thing because I can see that we are going to be spending a lot of time together in the near future... I know this is all very boring for everyone reading this, so I'm just gonna stop right there.

I'm gonna do another little survey thing...

1: grab the book nearest to you. turn to page 18, find line 4. write down here what it says:
"'Well... you're good, and in time you might be really". I'm in our study so there are two bookcases full of books right next to me. So I stuck my hand out and picked a random one and it ended up being L.A. Confidential by James Ellroy

2: stretch your left arm out as far as you can. what do you touch first?:
The bookcase I got the book from ;)

3: what is the last thing you watched on TV?:
On the television set it was the movie Mr Deeds. The last television show I watched was Friends, but that was one of my DVDs (season 6, disc 1 to be exact). So the last television show I watched while it was being aired on television was Paradise Hotel last night. It's such a bad show, but I can't help watching it.

4: WITHOUT LOOKING, guess what the time is:
I have no idea. I'm gonna go with about 5:17pm.

5: now look at the clock, what is the actual time?:
    lol it's 5:28pm. I guess that's not too bad.

6: with the exception of the computer, what can you hear?:
I can hear the song I'm Lost Without You by Blink 182, but it's being played on the computer so I assume that doesn't count. So I'm gonna go with slight sounds of my dad watching a movie on the TV in the other room.

7: when did you last step outside? what were you doing?:
Technically technically I stepped outside to say goodbye to Sophie and Bede when they left my place this afternoon, but I was in the doorway so I don't think that counts. So that would mean it was this afternoon when I went outside to get into dad's car and drove to McDonalds to get lunch.

8: before you came to this website, what did you look at?:
    My emails

    9: what are you wearing?:
A Powderfinger shirt and Billabong shorts

10: did you dream last night? what about?:
Yep, about Dan coming home from Perth

11: when did you last laugh? why?:
I laughed just a minute ago because Melissa made me. She said something amusing as always. And a little bit before that it was while I was on the phone to Dan

12: what is on the walls of the room you are in?:
Nothing. There are bookcases against two of the walls and a window in the whole of one wall. And then nothing on the last wall. It's a relatively small room.

    13: seen anything weird lately?:
I work in retail. Hell yes I've seen weird stuff. I hate people.

14: what do you think of this quiz?:
Meh, it's pretty much like all the others. I'm just stupid enough to do them

15: what is the last film you saw?:
The last one I saw was Mr Deeds today at home. But the last one I saw in theatre was Win A Date With Tad Hamilton. I saw it while I was in California, but it was cute so I didn't mind seeing it again.

16: if you became a multi-millionaire overnight, what would you buy first?:
Whatever the hell I wanted pretty much. And I want waaaaaaaay too much stuff to start listing it ;)

17: tell me something about you that I don't know:
My eyes are blue/green but my left eye has a brown patch thing in the bottom half of it. Some of you probably already know that, but it's the only remotely cool thing that I can think of about myself.

18: if you could change one thing about the world, regardless of guilt or politics, what would you do?:

19: do you like to dance?:
When I'm all by myself, sure. In front of other people? Not so much

20: george Bush: is he a power-crazy nutcase or some one who is finally doing something that has needed to be done for years?:
    He's pretty much an idiot

21: imagine your first child is a girl, what do you call her?:
I love the names Abby, Bella and Lorelai. My first one would be Abby

21: imagine your first child is a boy, what do you call him?:
Again, I love the names Ethan, Carter and Merrick (I know it's a weird name but it's cool!). The first one would be Ethan

22: would you ever consider living abroad?:
A year ago I probably would have said no. But the answer now is definitely yes. It probably wouldn't be for huge extended periods of time because I love Australia too much, but yeah I would definitely do it.

23: will you pass on this survey?
Well I'm doing it now, so I guess this is considered passing it on

I just wanna say that I miss you
I'm loving many many songs at the moment. But at this very second I am loving the song Since You've Been Gone by Powderfinger. Here are the lyrics, why? Because I want to.

There's a truth begging to be told
As the blues grab and take a hold
To continue like this only acts as a force for no good

I just wanna say that I miss you
And I've felt pitiful, since you've been gone
Just trying to say I need something to lean against
So I'm gonna steady myself against a reliable friend

There's a weight dragging through my days
That I've spent trying to fill the space
That's been there since the day that we parted and made our goodbyes
And there's a truth begging to be told
As the blues grab and take a hold
And I just can't believe when I wake up that you could be gone

I just wanna say that I miss you
And I've felt pitiful, since you've been gone
Just trying to say I need something to lean against
So I'm gonna steady myself against a reliable friend

For those of you who haven't heard it, you should *nods*

    I miss you, miss you
So, it looks like this might have to be a relatively small entry as well. Why I hear you asking. Because I have to go to work soon :( And then I have to come home and write my assignments that I still haven't done ;) I'm good like that.

    So the weekend was great!

On Thursday, Mel picked me up from the airport (thanks again sweetie!) and we got our McDonalds coke that we were both craving. Then that night Melissa and I just chilled out, spent a bit of time with Sean. Nothing too exciting. Friday I spent the day with Brenda which was fun. She's great. Friday morning I played with Baylie who is almost 4. Friday afternoon I was harrassed by Ashleigh who is 7. Seriously, I was really quite mean to the child because she was annoying as hell, but she loved me! All day Saturday she practically hung off me. But anyway, so Friday night Melissa, Mel, Loz and I went to the drive-ins. It was sweet :D I hadn't been in years and years. We saw 50 First Dates which was cool.

Saturday we didn't do too much during the day. Just went down to the shops for a bit. Then the four of us headed to the concert. Jebediah was awesome as always :D They really rocked. But damn all the young teeny boppers who moshed to Harpoon! It's just not right! Not happy Jan. But Chris was totally hot! And he was right in front of me for me to stare at the whole time they played. 28 Days were great too. Betchadupa were good but the other bands pretty much sucked. It was still a good night though.

Sunday was awesome :D The Broncos beat the Tigers (surprise surprise). The game was great. Then Mel and I got to have photos with Glenn Lazarus, Karmichael Hunt, Scott Sattler, Corey Parker, Mick De Vere and of course... DANE CARLAW! We nearly got Gorden Tallis, Shane Webcke and Casey Maguire, but they got rushed onto the bus, so that sucked. But I got to stand right next to Gordie and we were pretty damn close to the others too. We missed out on Stu Kelly which sucked, but it's all good. But yay for Dane and the others!

There is more to say, but I have to get going...

This is just a short entry to let everyone know that....

    I TOUCHED DANE CARLAW! :D :D :D :D :D

Yay! I got a photo with him and everything. And Mel touched his butt! I will tell all of the stories from the weekend tomorrow probably, but I just had to let everyone know about Dane. He's so yummy! And so is Chris from Jebediah! He looked amazing on Saturday night ;)

I'm holding my own, give or take a tear or two
I'm so freaking lazy. It's terrible really. I've finally gotten around to kinda writing up my resume. It's not fun I tell ya. It's no wonder I've been in the same job for the last 6 years ;) I still have not written either of my assignments that are due next week. I looked again and one is only 1500 words and the other is only 1000 words, so I'm not too worried. I could write them both next week if I wanted to. I'll try and write one of them on Friday when I'm in Sydney, or at least do part of it. I work better when I'm under pressure anyways.

I don't really have much to say. Sophie is on her way over to have some lunch and watch a DVD. After that I've gotta go up to work for a meeting. Then I will come home and pack for tomorrow. I will then proceed to watch Merrick and Rosso (cause they rock) and go to bed. Woohoo for tomorrow!

Oh and Dane Carlaw has been named to play on Sunday :D I'm happy! Unfortunately, it looks like Brent Tate and Shaun Berrigan are still out. But Tonie Carroll has been moved out of the centres (surprise surprise) and the team looks stronger on paper than last week's team did. So hopefully it will work out that way too!
